नमस्कार! नोव्हेम्बर 2022 मध्ये प्रकाशित झाल्यापासून, ChatGPT या प्रोग्रॅम ने जगभरात धमाल उडवून दिली आहे. ChatGPT हा OpenAI या संशोधन संस्थेने विकसित केलेला एक संगणक प्रोग्राम आहे जो लोकांशी त्यांच्या भाषेत बोलू शकतो आणि त्यांच्या प्रश्नांची उत्तरे देऊ शकतो. एखाद्या, बर्‍याच गोष्टींबद्दल बरेच काही माहित असलेल्या मित्रासोबत गप्पा मारण्यासारखं. Chat GPT आपण काय विचारत आहात ते समजून घेऊ शकतो आणि त्याला उत्तर देऊ शकतो. अगदी एखाद्या जिवंत व्यक्तीशी बोलल्यासारखं! (चम्मत ग: हा परिच्छेद "explain chat gpt to a 10 year old" या chat gpt ला विचारलेल्या प्रश्नाच्या उत्तराचा स्वैर अनुवाद आहे) गूगल किंवा अन्य वेब सर्च इंजिन आणि chat gpt यात फरक काय? मुळात, गूगल हे एक सर्च इंजिन आहे. नावाप्रमाणेच, कोणत्याही सर्च इंजिन चं काम "माहितीचा शोध घेणे" हे असतं. नैसर्गिक/मानवी भाषेत "विचारलेल्या" प्रश्नांची उत्तरं देणं नव्हे! अनेकदा दोन्हींमधली सीमारेषा धूसर असली, तरी एक ठळक फरक दिसून येईल. गूगल ला एखादा प्रश्न विचारला तर त्या प्रश्नाशी निगडित अनेक वेब लिंक्स ची सूची देईल. सर्वात योग्य वाटणाऱ्या लिंक चा गोषवारा सर्वात वर दाखवेल. पण एकूण आविर्भाव, "ही माहिती या लिंक वरून घेतलीय" असा असतो. याउलट chat gpt ला एखादा प्रश्न विचारला तर तो "हे घे तुझ्या प्रश्नाचं उत्तर" या थाटात उत्तर देईल. संदर्भासाठी लिंक वगैरे काही नाही. आणि जर ते उत्तर बॅक ट्रॅक करायचा प्रयत्न केला तर लक्षात येईल की ती माहिती कोणत्या एका विशिष्ट वेब लिंक वरून घेतली नाहीये. कदाचित 2-3 वेगवेगळ्या लिंक्स वरून माहिती घेऊन तिला योग्य प्रकारे शब्दबद्ध केलं आहे. आणि हा chat gpt चा मोठा लाभ आहे (हे मी माझ्या अनुभवावरून लिहिलं आहे) प्रत्येक वापरकर्त्यासाठी विशिष्ट उत्तरं देणं, नवीन लेखन करणं, संभाषणाची किंवा प्रश्नांची पार्श्वभूमी "समजून" घेणं, आणि संभाषणात एखाद्या जिवंत व्यक्तीसारखं प्रश्न विचारणं या गोष्टी chat gpt करू शकतं, गूगल नाही. कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्तेची (AI) ही एक मोठी झेप आहे! Chat GPT सारखा अजून एक रोचक प्रकार म्हणजे Dall-E. DALL·E सुद्धा OpenAI ने विकसित केला आहे. हा प्रोग्रॅम जनरेटिव्ह लर्निंग नावाची प्रक्रिया वापरून दिलेल्या वर्णनातून प्रतिमा/चित्र निर्माण करतो. टेक्स्ट टू स्पीच सारखं टेक्स्ट टू इमेज! तुम्ही DALL·E ला तुम्हाला चित्रात हव्या असलेल्या गोष्टीचे वर्णन देऊ शकता आणि ते त्या वर्णनावर आधारित एक युनिक प्रतिमा तयार करेल. DALL·E द्वारे तयार केलेल्या प्रतिमा वस्तू आणि प्राण्यांपासून, भावना आणि कल्पना यासारख्या अमूर्त संकल्पनांपर्यंत काहीही असू शकतात. कला आणि डिझाइनपासून जाहिरात आणि प्रॉडक्ट व्हिज्युअलायझेशनपर्यंत Dall-E चे अनेक संभाव्य उपयोग करता येतील. हे सर्व वाचल्या आणि पाहिल्यानंतर, कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्तेचे भविष्यातील वापर, परिणाम/दुष्परिणाम, नोकऱ्यांवर होणारे इम्पॅक्ट याविषयी अनेक प्रश्न मनात येतात. याविषयी चर्चा करण्यासाठी हा धागा! या विषयावर आपली मतं आवर्जून मांडा. तसंच, ChatGPT, Dall-E, आणि अन्य AI टूल्स/प्रोग्रॅम्स तुम्ही वापरले आहेत का? कशासाठी? ते वापरण्याचा तुमचा अनुभव कसा होता याविषयावरही नक्की लिहा! विषयाला धरून चर्चा करण्यासाठी मिपाकरांचे आगाऊ आभार!

कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता वापरून केलेलं मार्केटींग तर आपण पाहतोच आहे. Dall-E हे पेजर सारखं एक मधलंच पॅकेज वाटते आहे. सध्या मटा ला Dall-E वापरून तयार केलेली चित्रे पाहण्यात येत आहेत, फारशी इम्प्रेसिव्ह नाहीत. फोटो शॉप मध्ये दोन चित्रे मर्ज केलेली वाटताहेत. ChatGPT मात्र जग हलवून टाकणार हे नक्की !
